Our founder, Alvaro Alban, MD, MBA, has fifteen years of experience as an expert witness, beginning his career with the Brooklyn Legal Aid Society in NY, handling criminal defense initially.  Soon, thereafter, he expanded the scope of his practice to include contract disputes and tort claims.  His board certification in emergency medicine has made his experience relevant in a large array of cases.  His work history and formal training in finance allows him to get into the weeds of complex financial matters, both on the civil side but also when criminal charges are at stake.
